Cary Police Officers Earn Bailey’s First Responder Hero Awards

Congratulations to Detective Elizabeth Pearson and Detective Armando Bake of the Town of Cary Police Department; they were recognized with Bailey’s Fine Jewelry’s First Responder Hero Awards. They received a medal and a $200 gift card in a presentation with the Bailey’s store manager in Raleigh.

Advocates for Health in Action nominated Detective Pearson and Bake in recognition of their leadership with in the Cary Policy Department around increasing awareness around Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and building resilience to lessen the impact of ACEs. Law enforcement officers are exposed to a significant amount of trauma, and AHA applauds their work to support their law enforcement peers.

Bailey’s wanted to show its appreciation for those how protect the communities Bailey’s serves. “Bailey’s is a North Carolina born-and-bred company and the communities we serve are extremely important to us,” said Trey Bailey of Bailey’s Fine Jewelry. “There are so many amazing first responders that provide us with the safety, security and service so many of us often take for granted.”
