Advocates for Health in Action (AHA) is hiring a full-time ACEs Resilience Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator is responsible for driving this community-wide movement around preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and increasing resilience in Wake County. AHA improves the health and well-being of Wake County residents by facilitating and supporting community initiatives. We accomplish this by convening partners that change policies, systems and environments focused on well-being, healthy eating and physical activity.
AHA engages in collaborative partnerships with elected leaders and key municipal and county staff (such as planning, parks and recreation, and public safety) along with school, child care, community, health care, nonprofit and business leaders. These partnerships bring together cross-sector approaches to improve health county-wide.
