Breakfast: Cereal with skim milk and ½ banana AM snack: Peanut Butter Granola Bar
Lunch: 2 eggs with ¼ potato shreds, onions, black beans, peppers and mozzarella cheese on whole wheat tortilla
PM Snack: Had a late lunch, so didn’t have a snack in the afternoon.
Dinner: Turkey Burgers on 2 slices whole wheat bread (in the burger: mozzarella cheese, spinach, onion, 1 egg, 1 whole wheat heal of bread—made 3 burgers out of it), green beans, and sweet potato fries. A friend came over to hang out, so we made 3 burgers out of the leftover ground turkey. She brought sweet potato fries and chips. Later on, my friend asked if we had any chocolate and I remembered there were some chocolate covered pretzels that our aunt had sent us—a “cheat,” if you will that we hadn't purchased on our budget. It was nice to be able to have company for dinner after all. A nice way to get variety as well by pooling our resources!
