TP Day 5 on FNS Budget

 

Breakfast: Oatmeal with milk                                                                  AM Snack: Fig bar      
                                                                                                          
Lunch: 2 slices whole wheat bread with ½ banana and 2 tblsp natural peanut butter; ½ cup skim milk;
carrots and celery sticks
 
Dinner: Whole wheat spaghetti with ground turkey meat in sauce and grilled zucchini. I planned this meal for Friday night on purpose because my sister really likes it (well, she likes spaghetti and tolerates the whole wheat thing…). Friday night is a night we usually have company or are company. We did not think we could afford to feed extra people, so didn’t invite anyone over. When we don’t do either of those things, sometimes we have pizza. Since I stopped partying around 28, eating out has become a social activity. We are going to have to be more creative this weekend, since we will only be eating at home.
