Barefoot Runner Matt Jenkins is Running 760 Miles across NC to help raise money for We Run Forward.  

We Run Forward is a community organization run by 100% volunteers. Its mission is to promote families living in Wake County in order to strengthen bonds and become physically and mentally healthier through the power of running.

How This Will Work: Matt will be running through the Wake Forest area during the week of July 19-23.  The meeting location will be at the intersection of Jackson Rd. and Purnell Rd., near Mason’s Pond [Matt’s mile marker 240.5].  Matt will be aiming for Thursday, July 22nd in the late afternoon/early evening, however, this may vary.

How will you know when to meet: Matt is going to reach Dan when he is close to above destination, at which time a mass text message will be sent from Dan’s cell to all those who sign up to run.  Don’t get texting on your cell?  Don’t worry, Dan will also tweet the final call from http://twitter.com/WeRunForward.  You do not have to create an account on Twitter to do this and you can set it up to get tweets to your cell.
