This month AHA welcomes three new members to our Board of Directors:

AHA Chair Sarah Martin, Wake PTA Council, Vice Chair Sam Trogdon, Town of Cary Parks Recreation and Cultural Resources, and Secretary Carol Mitchell, Wake County Cooperative Extension, hosted an orientation for the new Board members.

“We’re honored to have Stephany, Brent and Mack join our Board of Directors; we look forward to their leadership and community connections to help further advance AHA’s mission to improve the health and well-being of Wake County residents by facilitating and supporting community initiatives,” said Martin. “AHA continues to grow its cross-sector engagement, and their involvement in our Board will strengthen this work.”

AHA thanks Erin White of Community Food Lab and Kristin Kelly of WakeMed Health & Hospitals for their service to the Board; their terms ended in December.

Join us in welcoming our new Board members at upcoming AHA meetings!
