Gardening and School Food Grants

Whole Kids Foundation School Garden Grants:

Created in partnership with FoodCorps, the School Garden Grant program provides a $2,000 monetary grant to support an edible educational garden on the grounds of a K-12 school. Schools, or a non-profit organization working in partnership with a school, may apply. Click here for more information. Applications due October 31, 2016.

Whole Kids Foundation Honey Bee Grants

The Honey Bee Grant program allows for K-12 schools to receive support for an educational honey bee hive. There are three grant options you can review here, including one for $1,500. Letters of Intent are due by October 31st.

Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools Grants

Any district or independent school participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is eligible to apply. The Food Services Director for the district is the required contact for the application. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Find out more information by clicking here.
