Roll or Stroll to New Zebulon Farmers’ Market, EBT Accepted

roll-and-strol-300x168The Zebulon Farm Fresh Market opens on Sat., May 2 and will be open from 9 am-1 pm every Saturday (except Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day weekends) through Oct. 10 at 301 S. Arendell Ave.

Organized by the Zebulon Parks and Recreation Department and managed by Market Manager Maurine Brown, the market will open with 19 vendors to kick off the season. The market will accept EBT/SNAP benefits to provide increased access to fresh, healthy, locally grown food for those in the community who receive food assistance.

Community members are invited to “roll or stroll” to the market for a chance to win a $25 basket of produce. Those who walk or bike to the market can enter a monthly drawing for the fresh produce basket.  Download this Roll or Stroll flier and walk or bike to the market to win!
