Raleigh Bike Share Feasibility Study

Raleigh Bike Share graphicThe City of Raleigh is conducting a feasibility study and implementation plan for a bike share program because of the growing bicycle culture and the commitment to becoming a bicycle friendly community.

Want to get involved? Go to the  project website, www.bikeraleigh.org/bikeshare to learn more, take a short user survey, and suggest bike share station locations.

City of Raleigh staff will also discuss the bike share study and ask for citizen input during the #BikeRaleigh Forum on Thursday, April 10 at 6pm in Cobblestone Hall.

A bike share system represents a unique opportunity for the City to increase the use of bicycles for relatively short-range travel, reduce the negative impacts of single occupancy vehicles and encourage a shift to other modes of transportation.
