Midtown Farmers’ Market Seeking Manager

The Midtown Farmers’ Market at North Hills is seeking a part-time Market Manager. See attached job description for details. Interested candidates may review this job description and send resume, cover letter, and three references to Dawn Baker and midtownmarketmanager@gmail.com, subject line: “Market Manager Position.”

Located on the ever popular, North Hills Commons, the Midtown Farmers’ Market is excited to begin its 7th season. This year’s market will feature nearly 5o weekly vendors and offer a vast selection of produce, proteins, baked goods, and other homemade items. Average weekly attendance ranges from 1,500 to 2,500, based on market events.

The market’s mission is to create a vibrant, thriving farmers’ market in the heart of Midtown Raleigh, where the community can buy local, family- farmed foods, grown in a manner that sustains the land and our health. The Market achieves this mission by providing local residents the opportunity to support small North Carolina farmers, every Saturday, April though November. While shopping, market goers enjoy live music, cooking demonstrations, and health-focused programming.
