Child care centers, schools, faith-based organizations, youth-serving non-profits and others have multiple opportunities to apply for garden grants. The N.C. Office of Environmental Education and Public Affairs maintains a listing of grants at its website, and they are organized by month or ongoing grants. Several grant applications have upcoming deadlines:

  • Whole Kids Foundation Garden Grants (Oct. 31)
  • Subaru Healthy Sprouts Grant (Nov. 15)
  • Stephen J. Brady STOP Hunger Scholarships (Dec. 5)
  • Fiskars Project Orange Thumb Garden Grants (Dec. 31).
