Sept 25: Planning and Public Health: Bridging the Gap

The Community Transformation Grant (CTG) Project and the Triangle J Council of Governments invite public health professionals and municipal and county planners to a workshop on Sept. 25 in Durham:  Planning and Public Health–Bridging the Gap.

Download this flier with details and register here. The workshop is 9 am-12 with a networking lunch from 1-2 pm.

Communities nationwide are recognizing the critical link between community design and public health. How well we plan land use, amenities, transportation, economic development and natural resource protection will have dramatic effects on our communities far into the future. This workshop aims to bring together planners and public health professionals to network, learn, take advantage of new funding opportunities and create a vision for a healthy, economically vibrant and sustainable Triangle.
