SE Raleigh Mini Grants: Call for Proposals

Voices into Action logoVoices into Action announced its 2013-2014 Southeast Raleigh Mini-Grants Call for Proposals.  Mini-grants are available for projects between $100 and $2000 that improve access to healthy, affordable foods and places to be active.  This could be anything from improving an outdoor play space or measuring a walking trail around a parking lot to starting a small community garden or improving local food pantries.

The grants are available to organizations that are familiar with grant-writing as well as groups that have never written a grant before, including schools, day cares, faith communities, convenience stores, farm stands, farmers markets, neighborhood organizations, civic groups, or non-profits.  Proposals are due on July 15, 2013.

Information about the grant, a grant-writing workshop on June 13 (5:30-7:30 pm) and the application itself are available online here.
